Who am I?

At Oracle, I lead Technical Strategy & Engineering (TSE), a small, agile team connecting technical strategy with hands-on building. We develop and steer technical strategy across Oracle, build bespoke applications for different business functions, and deliver new AI capabilities, tooling and skills.

My background spans telecommunications, high-performance computing and cloud computing. During 12 years at AWS, I led engineering and product teams across several services:

• AWS CloudFormation: led a team of over 100 people working on one of AWS’s foundational services.
• AWS Lambda: led an engineering organization of over 100 people focused on placement and resource utilization.
• AWS Wavelength: established the 5G engineering team and led the mobile edge computing launch.
• Amazon API Gateway: directed product management, with 2× year-over-year growth for two consecutive years.
• AWS Batch: built and launched the service at re:Invent 2016.
• AWS ParallelCluster: proposed, developed and launched the project originally known as CfnCluster.

I’m a builder who enjoys working through technical details and helping teams grow. I focus on solving hard customer problems that create lasting business value.

I live in Nashville. Outside work, I’m interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital, and I’m a proud dog dad to Winston and Macallan.
